VEG CHOW-CHOW

Preperation Time: 15 minutes.
Cooking Time: 10 minutes.
Serves: 8 .
Ingredients:
  1. 4tbsps refined oil
  2. 100 grams cucumber
  3. 2 tbsps plain flour
  4. 100 grams french beans
  5. 1 tsp sugar
  6. 225 grams cabbage
  7. 1/2 tsp Ajinomoto powder
  8. 2 capsicums
  9. 1/2 tsp soya sauce
  10. 3 onions
  11. Leave of spring onions and celery
  12. 2 carrots
  13. 4 sticks celery
  14. 100 grams cauliflower
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Green chillies in vinegar and chilli sauce to serve


Method of Preparation:
 
Step 1: Slice the carrots and onions.
 
Step 2: Cut the french beans and celery into 25mm. (1") pieces.
 
Step 3: Cut the rest of the vegetables into big flat pieces.
 
Step 4: Mix the flour in 1 1/2 teacups of water.
 
Step 5: Heat the oil thoroughly in a vessel and add the vegetable and Ajinomoto powder. Cook on a high flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
 
Step 6: Add the flour and water mixture. Add the sugar, soya sauce and salt and cook for 2 mintes.
 
Serve hot with chillis in vinegar and chilli sauce.
