SWEET CORN SOUP

Preperation Time: 25 minutes.
Cooking Time: 50 minutes.
Serves: 6 .
Ingredients:
  1. 1 1/2 tbsps sugar
  2. 6 large fresh corncobs
  3. 2 tbsps cornflour
  4. 3/4 tsp Ajinomoto powder
  5. 1/2 tsp soya sauce
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Green chillies in vinegar and chilli sauce to serve


Method of Preparation:
Step 1: Grate the corn. Take out a few whole corns. Add 6 tea cups of water and cook in a pressure cooker.
 
Step 2: Mix the cornflour in 2 teacups of cold water and add to the cooked corn mixture. Put to boil and add the sugar, Ajinomoto powder and salt .
 
Step 3: Boil for at least 30 minutes. Add the soya sauce.
 
Serve hot with chillies in vinegar and chilli sauce.
